Battery Tray Conditions of Sale & Warranty
To obtain full Piranha Warranty the following conditions apply:
- The battery tray (cradle) must be installed by an authorised Piranha installer.
- All the correct mounting brackets must be used in the appropriate position.
- No modifications may be made to the tray (cradle).
- If other under bonnet components are in the way they must be relocated by personnel who are qualified to do the modifications. ie. Air conditioner pipes - the system may have to be degassed, the pipe modified or remounted so as not to interfere with the dual battery installation.
- The Piranha Warranty covers only the products manufactured by Piranha.
- It is in no way to be construed that we cover any consequential damage.
- Piranha will repair or in most cases replace any faulty part at no charge, but we do not pay for fitting/recovery/towing or any other related expense.
- If a product has been self fitted, you may still have full warranty, but only if the fitting work is up to Piranha standard. This can be verified by having the installation checked by Piranha or one of its agents. This can be proved in writing.
PLEASE NOTE: THESE BATTERY TRAYS (CRADLES) ARE DESIGNED FOR AUTOMOTIVE TYPE BATTERIES NOT MARINE OR SPECIAL USE DESIGNS. IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE FITTER TO ENSURE ADEQUATE SAFE CLEARANCES.
Battery Tray Warranty
- Piranha warrants the product against faulty manufacture for a period of 2 years from the date of purchase.
- The Warranty is on the product only.
- Piranha will replace or repair the faulty item - we do not pay for consequential damage, towing, labour etc.
- Piranha retains full title of the product until it is paid for in full.
- To obtain warranty it is the responsibility of the customer to return the product to Piranha.
- Piranha will pay for freight out, but not freight in with regard to warranty.
- Piranha is not responsible for any stock that is lost or damaged in transit.
- Goods that are specifically ordered in may not be returned.
- A handling fee will be charged for any goods returned.
