INTELLIGENT DUAL BATTERY MANAGEMENT
The Piranha DBE150S-MICRO Electronic Isolator intelligent management system offers most of the important features of the DBE180S. This unit has been redesigned, upgraded, and improved to suit all modern vehicles.
The DBE150S-M disregards the need for externally mounted low-tech circuit breakers, which are inaccurate, and often don't blow quickly enough. Our electronic current limiting solution is built in, lightning quick and spot on accurate, making internal failure due to overload practically impossible.
Although simple, Brass nut and bolt connections for battery cables tend to vibrate loose or get over tightened. The solution is even simpler. We have soldered the actual power cables directly onto the circuit board eliminating the need for nuts and bolts and best of all, the full cable kit (6m in total) is part of the isolator.
In simple terms, no circuit breakers to mount and wire up, no cable kit to buy then install, so overall two significant coat savings and two significant problem areas disappear.
With a practical hi-tech approach we feel confident in offering a 2 Year warranty with a 5 year option if fitted as part of a complete kit by a Piranha Technician. This product will last for a great many years of normal service life and should problems ever occur, it is fully repairable.
ADVANCED Electronics
• Fully automatic operation using advanced electronics and high performance relays. The electronics are rated for tough 4WD conditions and the relays are sealed against dust and moisture
• High accuracy electronics manage the auxiliary battery for both effective charging and safe starting
• The main starting battery is always protected and cannot be drained by a load connected to the auxiliary battery
• Electronics are factory calibrated - no adjustments are required for the life of the unit
• Efficient low power design offers maximum charging current for auxiliary battery
