REDARC 24V 20A Low Voltage Under Bonnet DC Battery Charger - BCDC2420-LV. A 24 Volt 20 Amp, low voltage in-vehicle DC charger for vehicles fitted with an ECU-controlled variable voltage alternator and is fully potted making it ideal to withstand high temperatures, dust and vibration commonly experienced in under bonnet installations (large capacity battery banks may require a few cycles to fully charge). It's a three stage DC DC charger that operates from a vehicle input between 9 and 32 Volts DC, to charge at optimal level with chemistry specific battery charging algorithms. Equipped with a Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) solar regulator, MPPT Solar charging algorithm extracts the maximum available power from your solar panels at any given time. Which 12V solar panels can be used to charge 24V auxiliary batteries. It's multi-stage charging algorithm, with a 24V charging output the DC to DC charger, is suitable for trucking applications such as charging battery banks for tailgate lifters and side curtains.
